Our Full-Grain Leather
Our oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I just received my Large Charlotte in Beluga. It’s absolutely gorgeous! Exceeded my expectations entirely. I wanted a bag in Beluga but had missed the boat last time. I’m always looking for a pretty light neutral and the plain bone is just okay (the dragon bone is lovely). When I saw the new Charlotte with the basket weave design I loved it immediately. When I saw it in Beluga, I knew it was the one! The variations in Beluga shine with the basket weave. The brass pines on the front elevate the bag. Looking forward to purchasing a small Charlotte in either Honey or Pine. (For size reference, the photo shows a 10 oz travel mug & sunglasses. It’s about the same size as my Rainstorm Bag. The other shows the gray contrasting a chantilly white painted wall.)

I love the design of this purse, and I love the Mamey color. It's a soft, supple leather and the color is so unique. I was so excited about this bag...until I flipped it over and found the large spot on the back. This is by far the least perfect of the Almost Perfect items I have purchased. I'm so disappointed to see such a large stain on the leather. I'll be returning it because this is not something that will become less noticeable with patina.

Okay the leather and design of this bag is perfection ❤️ I purchased the small JACARANDA and the color is so pretty. It's perfect for a crossbody or shoulder bag and holds just enough.
I have a few PLG bags and I love them all, but this one in plum small, has become my favorite. Fits all my things nicely and it looks gorgeous!
I'm so glad I decided to purchase a Charlotte in plum. The large is the perfect size for my everyday necessities and plum is so squishy. It is a beautiful color and it smells amazing!
I do love My bag and have gotten so many compliments on it. I am disappointed in the liner I should have gotten a lighter color. I also was hoping to have a zipper on the top but in all it’s beautiful and I have a strap from Rocknot which makes all the difference with the bag. Also the color I got is in the purple family and if it said that I would have purchased it sooner. Totally ecstatic to say the least.
When I first saw Charlotte, I wasn't interested at all! But during my visit to the Portland Outlet store, I tried the small Plum Charlotte and fell in love. She's perfect! Big enough to hold plenty, (phone, rancher, kindle, double-zip, and even a hairbrush, with room to spare), but small enough not to be bulky or annoying. Literally the only cross-body bag I've found comfortable to wear. So then I bought a second one in Beluga... the AP Beluga I received leans a little more blue than some pictures show.
